AJA Kona 3g and Motherboard Question

This is a question to any of the AJA Kona 3g owners on here.

What happens is this - I can do three cameras at 1080i with no problems. When I add the fourth camera at that resolution I have what looks like to be dropped frames. This shows the most of the time in the audio that I received than the video. This audio drop / frame drop however doesn't show when I set the cameras to send a 576i/p signal.

This is using hd/sdi as the connection between my computer and the camera's.
My System Specs

Processor - COre i7-4770k @3.50ghz
Motherboard - z87-pro
Ram - 32 gig ddr 3
Graphics Card - GTX770
OS - windows 10

Capture Cards
1 x AJA Kona 3g (Running
2 x Avermedia C027

I was getting a similar problem going from two cameras to 3 at 1080i with 16 gigs of RAM but that improved when I changed from 16 gigs of RAM to 24 gigs of RAM.

The system overhead is minimal at best and this issue presents itself even when I'm not recording or streaming.

Some jobs have paid and my fiance is suggesting that I get a new motherboard because that might solve the problem. So I don't want to spend a ton of money but willing to go around $500 for a motherboard I would prefer to not have too buy a new processer or RAM however.

So I thought I would ask on here and get other people's advice?

your probably running out of bandwith on the pcie lane/connector on your motherboard. there is only 16 lanes wich is not enough, i would think.

and $500 for a X99 motherboard is about right, you also will need ddr4 ram and this http://ark.intel.com/pro...15M-Cache-up-to-3_70-GHz
minimal of aprocessor, you need the 40 pci lanes. so figure around $1600 for all 3 parts "motherboard/ram/cpu"

Did a system update to a Intel I7 5820K and a ASRock X99 Extreme4 + 32 gigs of ram and it seems to be working fine.
