I'm having trouble mapping my midi controller.
I have a Samson MF8 (http://www.samsontech.com/samson/products/usb-midi/controllers/graphite-mf8/)
I have got the buttons working ok and I also have the faders working for volume control and the cross fader is set as the t-bar. I have the faders setup as "modulation"
However the knobs across the top is what I'm struggling with. I have tried all channel types in the midi software however when in VMix the velocity of the knob jumps from 1 to 63 to 127. It's like it thinks it's a button or set functions. I want to use it to control gain or at least have a continuous velocity like the faders. I have tried modulation for the knobs but no luck.
Does anyone have any thoughts on this one?
Cheers

If I am not mistaken, a knob should be considered a Control Change device, very much like a slider.

Yeah I have got it set as Control Change however I'm not sure which change to make it. 0 Bank Select and 1 Modulation work for the faders and give me full range of velocity from 0-127. However the knobs still just jump around a few values. Not really sure what to do as i've tried all the numbers in the Midi CC list and no luck. Also the lights on the unit don't seem to light up. It's hard to know whether these issues are VMix based or are an issue with the actual midi control surface.

As per Martin, there is no feedback at this time, ability to change color/value on button, dial, and slider led's. Hopefully we will see it soon.
