Hi, I am trying to solve this problem:
I have done a png picture for scoreboard. I have of them, one is 2000 px width, one 1000 and the last one 300. I would like to have the scoreboard 300 px width, but when I insert this .png file, I see it full screen. OK, so I tried to scale it down unzooming it, but if I do that, I lost a lot of quality, and the picture is not clear. Same thing happens if I try to do this with 1000 or 2000 px width picture.
I hope someone understands my problem. How should I solve it?
Thanks

Hi mp!!
I use vMix for basketball games so i did this to get best quality:
I made a picture in PNG format, that its already scaled and sized in the correct place. Then i modified a title of the titles folder with notepad (in Program Files/vMix), changing the sizes, and replacing the original PNG file for the file i did. I work SD PAL. If you want i can send to you my title to see. This way is more complicated than your way, but I think the resize will not give you the best quality result. It's my opinion, based on my short experience.
Hope it helps. Regards from Argentina!

MP I think that is the way vmix treats files. I too use it for scoreboards. What I do is create a file in Photoshop the size of my SD footage with a transparent background. In my case it is 720X480. This way when I make the scoreboard I know exactly how big it is and where it will be on the screen. I save the file as a png therefore it will only show the scoreboard in the same location as you have it in Photoshop.
Hope this helps Greg

Hi MP,
First of all, please try the latest version as there has been a small improvement in the zoom quality. Second, as the others have suggested try creating a full PNG image with the logo positioned exactly as you want it as it's a bit more difficult to use the Zoom and Position controls in vMix to get the image to exactly match the resolution.
Regards,
Martin vMix
