I use two usb3 bm dongles to produce two livestreams in english and in dutch on two streaming machines running vmix. from a main mixer with vmix i output a signal pal25p to the dongle and capture that and loop through to streammachine nr 2.

on the vmix streamers i can select the audio to output in the stream.

all is well, but the signal at 25 p is interlaced in vmix. on both computers...?.?

tried capturing at 50i but no signal in vmix. checked with bm media express and the signal coming in is definately 25p.

so why do i get an interlaced image in vmix with setting at 25p on the input ? and no way to de interlace...

never had this before so might be the troughloop or something in vmix....

greetings, stefan

addendum

solved it by outputting interlaced 50i and capture that with de interlacing... but that's not the point. how is an obvious progressive signal interlaced in vmix... ?

If you are seeing interlaced, then it means the source is definitely sending 50i, even if it is also saying the signal is 25p.
So it seems as thought he source is misconfigured somehow, i.e configured to send 25p even though some link in the chain is really 50i.
