Hello,
I recorded 13 episodes of a study with the new VMIX 16. I Recorded this with FFMPEG, Pro Res, MOV. Now i read on the forum that for the best compatible i had to use MOV Indexed. So, now i have files with the normal MOV files. And i have problems with opening, editing and converting.
Does anyone has a option for a good program to open these files and convert them in another format, so that i can use them in e.g. Final Cut Pro.
I'll hope someone can help me,
With kind regards,
Alfred

Try Format Factory or Handbrake.

We should probably make a MOV indexing utility as a vMix utility, but until then it's easy to use ffmpeg to quickly index existing MOV files for editing. To do this download ffmpeg and open a command prompt to run the following command: Quote:ffmpeg.exe -i recording.mov -vcodec copy -acodec copy convertedrecording.mov

I tried QuickTime Player, AVS and MPEG Streamclip to export the file, but all were given an error.
