Is commonly known in the video industry that resolutions not divisible by 8 lead to errors, like the famous green bar.

For example, there's a resolution that I use (854x480) that leds to a green bar to the right, because 854 is not divisible by 8. The current fix will be to change 854 to 856 (only 2 pixels). Maybe add the new resultion instead of modifying the current one, so users that are suffering because of this can fix it easily without recoding the entire footage again in another software.

Seems that there are encoders that happens the same but with 16 instead of 8.

Anything on this topic? Is a really easy fix. Just add a bit more resolutions to the list.

854x480 is not a true 16:9 resolution. The closest two would be 848x477 and 864x486.

Well, we are talking about the problem that non-divisible by 8 resolutions create, not about exact 16:9 resolution...
