How about some new wipes and fades etc maybe a few more to add to what is already part of the program maybe in the next update

Cannot say that I am in favour of this. I don't know how many times I've seen hardware switchers that are loaded with umpteen different wipes that NEVER get used.
Development of 'Special Effect Transitions', on the other hand, along the lines of the new "Merge" transition, I am in complete favour of.
Just my thoughts.

I agree special effects would be a better way to go just seems a little boring but all though its a great program overall
