USB 2.0 capture device in vMix 64bit

I've got a USB capture device, on a 2.0 port, windows 7. It works fine in the 32bit version of vMix 13, but not in the 64bit - I can see it as a Camera, but get an error when I try to add it.
So, 2 questions:
Any ideas if I can work around the issue?
Or, what am I missing in the 32bit version? Replays, of course, anything else? Is the streaming performance affected at all?
Thanks!
Yorkie

Your USB capture device may not have 64bit drivers. Check for the latest drivers with the manufacturer. If there are none, you will need to find another device that supports 64bit. Or stick with a 32 bit version of vMix.

The manufacturer claims the drivers are 64bit, at least. I have found the error code 800700c1 mentioned in relation to windows updates, but not sure what else I can do. Thanks for your reply, anyways.

So, inadvertently you've really helped. In looking up the serial number of the device to give you the most detail I could find, I found drivers from another manufacturer that were more recent - and they work well. So the moral of the story is...? For anyone interested, the stick is boxed as a KWorld USB Hybrid TV Stick Pro, UB242-D. Their drivers stopped in 2012, v6.0113.0721.2114(WHQL). But Conexant sold the same stick, and I found some drivers 6 months newer, version 6.0114.0424.0531. eg http://www.drivermax.com...05-31-1506869-driver.htmI'm often reluctant to go through those unofficial driver collation sites, you never know what extras you're getting, but this time it's been worth it. Oh, and I'm on Windows 7, SP1. Thanks for all your (accidental) help. Yorkie
