Hi Martin,
Why does vMix take much much longer to start up when it is not connected to the internet?
I thought it might be checking for updates, but I have that box unchecked and it still takes forever.
version is HD 15.0.0.78 - all else works perfectly just as I would expect of your fine work.
In our trailer we might have internet at one job and not at another.
It is frustrating to have such a l o n g startup time, especially in front of a client.
Let me know what you think,
Tony

Hi Tony, vMix is designed to work just as fast without any internet access, in fact the update check feature happens in the background so that it doesn't interfere with startup. My guess would be there is some 3rd party device or codec being used in vMix that is trying to connect to the internet. As a test, make sure the internet is active and run vMix then try the following to see what sites are being connected to. http://www.howtogeek.com...net-connection-activity/The names or IP addresses might be helpful in narrowing down what driver or software is the culprit. Regards, Martin vMix
