@ braendy
What is the 'Aspect Ratio' setting in "General" settings for the input? Typically, when using 'Source', vMix will "size" the picture to fit the screen without distortion, any other setting may distort the image.

OK. Have just tested with a clean vmix install. The image is inserted with the correct aspect ratio but because the file is so large it is cropped at the top and the bottom. The solution is to resize the image to the target size you are going to output. So in your preferred image editor resize to height of 1080 px keeping aspect ratio checked on. now open a new canvas in your editor with size of 1920x1080. insert the resized image into that and save. ask attached the following image(s): FIXED.png (1,653kb) downloaded 3 time(s). in vmix-FIXED.png (968kb) downloaded 3 time(s).You cannot view/download attachments. Interesting phenomenon. When added as a single 'Image' input, the image is indeed stretched (distorted). However, when I include it in a photos folder which has many oversized and mixed size photos and add the folder as a 'Photos' input, it displays correctly. Go figure... Ice

thank you for you answers.
I know, I can add a whole folder, and that the side ratio is then correct. @ask: there are too many images to each adjust previously. currently I change each image separately in Vmix under "zoom X" work on Sytem also people who are overwhelmed therefore should work correctly

@ braendy
For the time being, I would use multiple instances of the same folder as "Photos" inputs, if you need multiple images. Set the 'Slide Show" transition to "0" and select the image you want as an input. I find it gives you more 'screen estate' and versatility overall.
