Hi

I see many people use FMLE to encode streams from vMix and send it to a streaming server, and that's fine i am using FMLE + red5 myself ATM.
My questions would be: is there a way to record a encoded file in *.mp4 format and x.264 + AAC audio id for example aac installed on the system..?

If there is i could not find it yet :)

Reasons for this:
well i am interested to record the sermon and as soon as recording finished to upload on the server (even better if you could save it directly on the server)

What would implicate to get vMix to encode and push the encoded content directly on the server in a folder?

Is this something for version 6? i guess depending if useful for others, as well :)

what would serve me good would be :
1 setting for encoding *.mp4 files bit-rate, for video and audio, (possibility to encode audio with AAC)
2 Choose the path to save the file. (FTP or web folder mapped would be good if included)
2a Choose the possibility to auto name the output file as current date+some text (example filename= 04-05-2010-sermon.mp4)
3 Room for others to bring ideas... :)

If something like this is possible , would help at least me :)

hi isaia,

FMLE can record your stream to mp4 but if you want to use aac audio you need to buy the plugin by follow link below:
