I am trying to setup some shortcuts for a football game that will have a lot of inputs due to the number of players. When setting up shortcuts it is only showing me the first 64 inputs and will not show any higher inputs. I am using version 4. Has anyone run into this? Or could someone point me to a solution?
Thanks Greg

Hi Greg,
I do not know what you want to display. One idea is to create your composition with transparent background in photoshop and save .PNG format file them all in a folder. After you add this folder on Vmix by input "Photos". All images are loaded and you can display them as "overlay". The shortcut function is to advance the photos "next picture" / previous picture "

Martin If this is the only solution I may try it but I was afraid to try it because of the alpha channel problem I had with the last install. I had to do a full reinstall of everything on my PC to get it to function correctly.

Mauro Thanks for you suggestion. I am creating player lower thirds in photo shop and saving them as png like what you have suggested. I looked at what you have suggested but haven't found a way I can display a certain one in the folder. Say I want to show the eighth picture. How could I create a shortcut to show it without having to show the seven before it?

Hi Greg,
This suggestion is an improvisation to have a folder with overlay elements available in the preview window. With the folder open in Vmix, the next or previous image is done manually on the buttons in the preview window and when you want to overlay, simply click the button Overlay.
If you want to work with shortcuts, you will have to build 3 for slideshow input: 1-Next (NextPicture) 2-Previous(PreviousPicture) 3-Overlay (OverlayInput)
The advance of the images is done sequentially.
In version 5, you can put multiple functions on the same shortcut. So the shortcut number 4, for example, you can display the next image and overlay on.
If you want to go directly to an image:
1-Right click in the preview window 2-Slideshow settings 3-Just click on that image you want to leave the preview.
Tip: Martin could set double click on the photo of the "slideshow" to directly view as overlay.
Go to photo-specific shortcut is not possible.
Hope this helps.
Mauro.

Mauro I understand your suggestion but there must be a bug in version four for this. I can advance through the pictures in a folder with a shortcut but when I use a shortcut or just click on one of the four overlay buttons the program will always display the first picture as the overlay. You can have any picture in the folder up in the preview but when you try to overlay it the first picture in the folder will be shown. Does your suggestion work correctly in version five?

Hi Greg,
In the input settings you will need to untick "Automatically restart with transition".
