Hello,


Can anyone please validate my following idea ?
I'm still trying to find the best way to have back-up recordings.

For that I'm thinking to use the Output screen at full HD and have an external recorder (like Atomos Ninja) connected to the video card (hdmi connection) and externally record the stream.

Do you think there are reasons to NOT do that ?

Hi ClementN,

That sounds like a good idea to me. Just bear in mind that you would also need a separate method for backing up the audio stream, as the HDMI from your video will only output video.
