Hi all,

I was just wondering if one can add an image ref within the HD Ticker XAML file?!
I managed to change the colour of the background etc. But was wondering if anyone had been successfull in actually adding a 'background image,' if so, what size this was labeled at etc.

Grateful for any tips.

UPDATE: I used the 'blank ticker' and simply photoshoped the background I wanted and then added this as an image input. (It's not ideal, but it works) STILL - I'm hoping there might be another way of doing it, so if anyone has any ideas, please get involved.

If you are not familiar with Microsoft Expression Blend, just open the animated ticker xaml file in a notepad. under the <grid> tag paste this line
<Image HorizontalAlignment="Left" Margin="0,0,0,0" Name="BackgroundImage" Stretch="Fill" VerticalAlignment="Top" Width="1920" Height="1080" Source="NewsHD5.xaml.png" Opacity="0.9" /> which I already copied from NewsHD5.xaml file.

Change NewsHD5.xaml.png with your image.

I hope that works :)
