I am testing this software which I think is going to be able to do everything I need but will need to have an output to record the live video on DVD. Has anyone used this setup with the intensity shuttle on a Lenovo W520 or can anyone tell me if it might work?

I have purchased one of the Blackmagic Intensity Shuttle USB 3.0 and it is working on my PC for both capture and output. My question is does anyone know if you can use two of these shuttles both as capture devices with VMix software?

USB 3.0 is limited to one intensity shuttle at a time.

I have two usb 3 ports. Do they share bandwidth? Is this the reason it will not work. Will it work for SD and not HD or not work at all?

Both ports share the bandwidth so only one device is possible.
My understanding is the Intensity Shuttle driver checks to see if the full bandwidth is available before it will work so unfortunately
that means even if there is enough bandwidth for 2x SD it will not work.
