Hi There.
The instant replay feature only records a single audio channel. This works fine for single venue events, but when you have multi-venue, or long cable runs, often the audio of the camera being replayed is not what was being recorded on the main channel. Also would help for pre-recording inserts/interviews etc via roaming cameras, whilst having replay recording the main action.
Hope this is possible. Thanks

@ Kibim
Does the "MultiCorder" not allow you to record individual capture inputs?

In the Instant Replay settings, you can specify the Playback Audio Source from any of the cameras being recorded in addition to "Master" master will record and use the audio from the main mix in vMix, allowing you to use the vMix mixer to specify the audio source as you go.

Hi,
for Instant Replay is it necessary to record audio for each input source. So that you can playout each chanel with his audiosource.
Cheers Thomas

Yes,
All audio sources are recorded and the Playback source can be changed in settings at any time.

Hi,
OK. Perfect. So it will be great to have the option "from source" to setup.
Cheers Thomas

Ice Hi IceStream, it does, but it doesn't allow instant replay. Seems i can have one or the other.

Thanks, yes, i have this option selected, as my main mix runs AFV for each source. (i'm not actually switching cameras in VMix, using a hardware switcher with 3 selected cameras routed into vmix + a main mix, with an output back into the main production switcher. Audio is set to the 'main mix in' which is AFV from the production switcher) BUT, the issue i have, is that something may happen 'off screen' on a camera i'm not currently selected on the production switcher, and then the replay audio plays back the video from the slave camera, but the audio from the camera i was on air with at the time of the incident. So it happens 90% of the time, that my audio is not from the correct camera.

Regards,
Martin vMix Thanks Martin. So physically the system seems to do what i want, but just not automatically. It would be great to have an AFV or 'from source' as tomtom1976 mentioned as an option for playback. It serves 2 purposes, both for replay, after which you can use the same files as camera ISOs, with thier associated source audio. Makes it very powerful.

I would love to decide the audio source individually for each event.
There should be a preset (like there is now), but it would be awesome to have a column next to the event tick boxes to selec the individual input source of each event.

Regards,
Martin vMix it would be great, to change the Playbacksource with a shortcut / API Function
