Perhaps I've missed this somewhere but...

I have a scratch drive (F) (1TB - 7200) where I store videos and other junk, in addition to my main drive (C) (250GB SSD). Today I added a Video Input that was a video file on F. Let's call it Video1. I wanted to add Video1 on MultiView of a different Input. But when I went to select Video1 in the MultiView drop down box, it did not appear on the list of Inputs. So, I checked to make sure Video1 was an Input, and there it was in the collection of Inputs. But is did not appear as an available input in MultiView.

Is this just me? Do I need a vacation or new glasses?

WEIRD INDEED!

Does the Video1 input at least play and display in 'Program' window?

Tom,
Check the name (shown in the top of the Input's window) of the Input where you have the video on the F-drive.
It is that name that appears everywhere else, eg in a MultiView drop down selector. IE not the full path (for "F:\video.mp4" the name would be "video.mp4").

And if you need further assistance in figuring out what the problem might be, more info please. Such as vMix version, a screen shot of vMix. And in addition to what Ice suggests, check with a video on another drive.

(of course I tried with a video on my F-drive before I wrote the above ;)

good luck!
