Testing v3

We had 3 sessions in a row to for recording and streaming in the same time (full hd).

Settings fro the recorder: .mpg, bitrate 25

Unfortunately, the third "video" is not ok as it has only sound and no video.

After that, we had another 2-3 tries with wrong results and then everything was back to normal.

We tried to analyze what happened and didn't found any wrong step.

Is this a known situation ?

Thank you very much

Hi,

Could you try the following on the broken video clip:

1. Download MediaInfo from http://mediainfo.sourceforge.net/en
2. Open MediaInfo and go to File -> Open to open the video clip.
3. Have a look at the results and report back if it is showing a video and/or audio stream.

Thanks,

Martin

Sorry, I didn't see your reply.

So, I downloaded the program and the details from some of those files are bellow.

Thanks,

How many inputs were running approximately when the issue occurred?
Were you using the Video Delay input at all?

Regards,

Martin

3 video inputs. All of them Intensity pro

No video delay used. Only audio delay (sometimes).

But the same problem occurred both with and without audio delay.

This is the only problem we have before adopting this software for our live productions.

Martin, can we find a way to be alerted on this is happening before the end of the show?

At this moment there is no way for us to know the recorder started wrong before the end.

Thank you,

Try the latest version and check in Task Manager the memory usage of vMix.
If the memory usage is under 1-1.5GB then the recording should be fine. It seems to be a bug in the MPEG-2 encoder (by Microsoft) when
a lot of memory is in use.

Also, if you are using "Stereo Mix" as the audio source, use vMix Virtual Capture instead.
