I use these audio meters to help me achieve the correct audio level in vMix. The primary one I use is the Peak Level Meter about 1/4 page down on the site.

@ GeorgeR

Do you find they serve you better than the vMix meters?

Ice,
Yes, for a couple reasons. One, the audio card in my desktop and laptop are totally different. What appears to be a good audio level with the audio level meter supplied with vMix in the desktop would not be a good audio level in the laptop. Secondly, I have a severe hearing loss. I can see the sound level in the optional peak meter. When the audio is "zeroed in", that is, when the audio level is at zero db in the optional peak meter the audio is at the correct level. I use the same "zero audio standard" in the desktop and laptop for my mic and for the audio from Skype guests. When the audio in the optional peak meter is at zero db from all sources the audio is set correctly.
Cheers!
~George
