Since Facebook video has a huge reach, we would love to be able to record a short clip in low quality, whithout stopping the high quality recording. We could then upload this small clip to Facebook as an announcement for a new speaker, dj, band,.. Right now we post the link to the livestreams, but links, pics and text just have a super bad reach. I'm now looking at an external recording or some extra software, but if this would be built in, it would be a super feature.

Have you tried the 'Video Delay' feature or even the new 'Replay' feature, both of which can be set up to record and save and/or export independent video clips.
