Instant Replay has worked very well in real action. The following problems / bugs was noticed in last project. Version 15.0.0.74.
1) Event transition speed is affected by replay speed. This means that if replay speed is something else than 100% the transition between events will also be slowed down (for example cube). We got around the problem by using the cut transition. Stinger transition at the beginning and end (in out) of the replay worked fine.
2) Color adjust of A-channel is not saved in preset. So when we restart the vmix we will have to always redo the A-channel color correction. We need the A-channel color adjust to integrate the vmix with hardware mixer. Color adjust of the program out would be best for us but I suppose the feature does not exist at the moment? Looking forward the black level shift.
3) We have found out that vertical display (portrait) with resolution 1080x1920 serves well in Instant replay UI and vertical monitor also saves space on a table. Only major problem is that overlay button is not visible in the bottom bar. So if we need to tune the stinger transition we have to switch to landscape mode 1920x1080. Some other buttons are also little difficult to use in bottom bar. There is plenty of room in bottom bar also in portrait mode - so maybe in future all the buttons could be viewable? At the moment we do not have monitor with higher resolution but that might solve the problem without vmix update.
Thank you
