Hi all! A t-bar itself isn't functioning same as the hardware t-bars on professional hardware switchers. The problem is that vMix's t-bar is functioning like this: - when the value gets to maximum (255) it transitions between preview and live - and then goes back to 0 value, which is a problem - so what it does right now is: - -|----- --|---- ---|--- -----|- (shows preview and live at the same time at value 254) and then goes to 255 which automatically goes back to 0 and makes a transition: -|-----
It would be better if t-bar would function like this: - goes from 0 - 254 - as most MIDI controllers have sliders of maximum value 127 (127*2 = 254) - making a transition to activate when value reaches 254 - stays at 254 transitioned - -----|- - when I pull back the t-bar from 254 to 0 - like this - -----|- ----|-- ---|--- --|---- -|----- and at 0 value it transitions and stays at 0!
With this option, it would be a lot easier to connect any MIDI controller to vMix and implement this function.
So, what we need is a option to make this feature possible with one click if wanted, not changing the default option! Also, this feature would make a web controller a lot easier for t-bar to function!
And ofcourse on tablets and smartphones!
I hope Martin can implement this very easily ;)
