I am attempting to use VMix to switch between up to 16 HD 1920x1080 pre-recorded video files.

Are there specific audio/video settings that will provide optimal playback?

Hi,

For a lot of HD video files, the main requirement is a decent graphics card.
Any recent nVidia graphics card (GT 440 or better) with at least 1GB of ram should do the trick.

Purchased a GT 440 and it is working well as you suggested. Thanks!
