I am using vMix basic HD
I have an NVIDIA GeForce GT 620 with 4GB RAM ,
Windows 7 Professional Edition Service Pack 1 (build 7601), 64-bit
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4570 CPU @ 3.20GHz
which should be compatible with vMix.
I have a Firewire capture card with three inputs for three DVI cameras.
vMix does not allow me to connect the third camera. I can see all of them in vMix ( camera 1,2,3) The error message is " not enough system ressources to perform this action"
Anyone knows how to solve this problem?

What is your "capture" card?
Typically, a Firewire multi-port card is not considered a "capture" card and will usually only support one DV video signal effectively.
It has more to do with the architecture of IEEE 1394 and the card, and less about vMix and your system, unless of course you have an actual Firewire "capture" card that is designed to process multiple video signals, I am just not familiar with any.
A multi-port firewire card is like $20, a dedicated video "capture" card is about $200-$400 per input, just sayin...

Ice Thanks. I believe you are right. I am using a DeLock PCI Express Card > Dual Channel 2x2 FireWire A - FireWire adapter which is not a real "capture " card.

Thanks. Light, Actually for me that is encouraging, you are getting 2 live cams out of one relatively cheap firewire card. Is it possible for you to switch between the 3, so have 2 live, then sleep one of them to turn on the third? If so with some extra work you can have 3 cam shots out of just one $50 or so card. That would be very efficient.
