I have a list to run of pre-recorded videos with embedded audio, plus a couple of images to display between the videos, each around 2 minutes long. The two images have no duration in a list or include embedded audio.
So I need to work out how to do the following so I don't have to do all this manually.
Cut or fade to List1 on Auto Next with videos containing embedded sound, also fade down the audio input by 70% so you can hear the video's audio. As List1 completes, cut to or fade to Image1, set a display duration of 2 minutes, and fade up the audio input by 70% to hear the background music. When the display duration of Image1 completes, cut/fade to List2 on Auto Next and fade down the audio input by 70% so you can hear the video's audio again.
Would it be possible to do this with triggers? Alternatively, I am using BitFocus Companion, so I have access to the A&H CQ mixer and Vmix functions.
Any tips on this would be great, thank you.

What I would like to see is a fade between items in a list, not just a straight cut... fade (desolve) with ability to set the time of the fade, e.g. .5 sec. to 2sec. ... that would be so nice...anyone agree with me?

Use the Playlist feature to combine List1, Image1, List2. Use (OnTransitionIn) Triggers on the list and image inputs with the function "SetVolumeFade" for the audio input.
