Looping for audio not seamless?

Basically what the topic says: Looping the audio is not a seamless loop, there's a small buffer when the loop restarts. I've thrown everything I could think of at it: Re-encoding the audio file several times to match sample rates and try different filetypes, put it in a playlist, cutting beginning/end, marking in/out points in the timeline and probably a lot more that I can't currently think of in my exhausted state of mind. There's one thing I have in mind that I haven't tried, and that is to change audio output on vMix (In case there's *something* on my machine that would interfere).
I don't know if anyone else has come across this issue, but any assistance would be helpful if there's something that I've missed... or if this has turned into a vMix thing all of a sudden.
For reference, I worked on a broadcast last year where the loop function worked *perfect*, this issue that I have now wasn't an issue before.
Thank you in advance! - Crasher
