Hi vMix Team and Community,

I am writing to formally request the re-introduction of the X (formerly Twitter) Social Updates feature within vMix Social.

As many long-time users remember, vMix used to have a seamless way to push updates directly to Twitter. This was deprecated due to the massive changes and instability of the Twitter API over the last couple of years. However, X has recently stabilized its ecosystem by launching official paid API tiers specifically designed for automated posting and business integrations.

Now that there is a clear, paid framework for these services, the technical uncertainty has diminished. Re-integrating this feature would be a game-changer for professional productions that need to automate audience engagement.

I would love to see:

Native Integration: The return of X in the "Social" settings for direct status updates.

API Compatibility: Support for the new OAuth 2.0 authentication required by the current X API tiers.

While some of us use third-party workarounds (like Zapier or Central Control), having this natively back in vMix would streamline the workflow significantly for professional broadcasters.

Is this something the dev team is considering now that the X API has a defined business structure? I’d love to hear from others who would find this useful for their daily workflow.

Thanks for continuing to make vMix the best switching software on the market!
