I have a custom MMA/Boxing project I want to port from NewBlue Captivate into GT. I am having some issues.
I have a third that displays the following:
Winner-First Winner-Last Win-Method Win-Round
In NBT its a simple case of a custom html controller that has a dropdown to select my method and a button to populate with the winner name. Names come from an excel sheet. However I cannot grasp GT and UTC to mimick the workflow. My setup so far (and this is my second day in GT so please forgive me if I am being stupid here!!):
List widget - Simple list containing win methods (KO, TKO, Submission, etc) A button called 'Red-Winner'. When I click this button I want it to:
- Populate the win-method with the method from the dropdown widget - Populate first name with the red-first cell from the excel sheet - Populate last name with the red-last cell from the excel sheet - Conditional check - If currentRound <= MaxRound then populate round with the -1 round - This is because when I take my clock out it auto-increments a round, so if I took the clock out in round 2 for the finish, it now says round 3, so I need to decrease by round for the correct round... Although writing this I see an issue, what if the round the stoppage happened is in the last round!!
As I move from Tricaster to vMix for my smaller x2 camera events, having everything or as close to everything go through vMix would be life saving, I want to avoid having to use another machine to run Captivate where I can.
Is there a scripting documentation for UTC? According to Gemini in my text variable I put [Widget:ListWinMethod.Text] but that literally just populates with that exact text? So me thinks Gemini is chatting Raj?
Any help is extremely appreciated on this!
