I am looking into purchasing an MXO2 LE unit with the PCIe computer card. Does anyone have any experience with this unit? I know that it is one of the officially supported units by vMix, but I was wondering if it works ok with connecting a computer directly to the HDMI input to show presentations or if it would need the connection to go through a scan converter first. Also, would a consumer grade video camera be able to connect directly to the HDMI port or would it also need a scan converter?

If you guys have any other recommendations on capture cards that may be a little cheaper and have HDMI inputs that would also be really appreciated.
