I'm going to try my hand at an ascii art network diagram. Please forgive my lack of artistic abilities.

Code:

INTERNET | COMPANY LAN
                       |
                       | +---[Laptop 1]--[WEBCAM]
                       | |
[VMIXCALL]-----[?]-----|---+
                       | |
                       | +---[Laptop 2/vMIX]--[WEBCAM]

When Laptop 2 "Hosts" a vmix call, and Laptop 1 joins via a browser, I understand the signaling and setup messages leave the LAN and go to vmixcall.com. But does the video/audio leave the LAN too? In VoIP calls, like with SIP, there is no need for hairpin traffic. if the two end devices can speak directly, the packages need not leave the LAN. is that the case with the video/audio here too?
