Greetings vMix Family,
We are AGB Media, a Turkey-based technology company that both develops software and actively engages in sports broadcasting. We know exactly what the dust of the field and the stress of the production desk feel like. We are now packaging the solutions we have used in our own productions for years to make them available to all our colleagues.
The biggest reason vMix is loved worldwide is its ability to use hardware resources with miraculous efficiency. We admire this philosophy. While developing AGB Scoreboard Master, we optimized our code and libraries countless times. Our goal was to create a lightweight yet powerful assistant that runs in the background "like a ghost" without tiring the computer where vMix—the heart of the broadcast—is running.
Thanks to this optimization, you don't have to run the software on the same computer as vMix; you can seamlessly feed vMix from any computer, laptop, or a second PC at the production desk over the network (LAN). Additionally, to ensure full compliance with professional league standards, current FIBA protocols are already loaded into our system and ready for use.Here are the highlights of our software:
1. Wide Protocol Support If you have the chance to get data from the scoreboard console, your job is very easy. Our system automatically recognizes protocols from brands like Skorled, Bodet, Westerstrand, Favero, and especially our local pride, Skorled. Whether it's old-school RS232 (Serial) or new-generation LAN (Network) connection; the moment you plug in the cable, the data starts flowing.
2. AI-Powered Smart OCR (Camera Reading) In cases where you cannot get data from the console, simply pointing your camera at the scoreboard is enough. But this is not standard OCR. Our system knows the rules of the sport (24-second rule, set scores, foul limits, etc.). Our AI engine filters out light glares or flickering on the field, sending only verified, clean data to vMix.
3. Unlimited Video Sources: NDI, SRT, RTSP, and More You don't have to connect the camera to the computer via USB or Capture Card to read the scoreboard. Our software natively supports modern video transport protocols such as NDI, OMT, SRT, RTMP, and RTSP. You can directly feed the NDI output of a PTZ camera on the field or the RTSP footage of an IP security camera on the network as a source to our OCR engine. No more cable clutter!
4. Drag-and-Drop vMix Integration No need to deal with Excel files or complex Data Source scripts. Our software talks directly to the vMix API. It takes seconds to map the "Time" data to the relevant field in your vMix Title. You can send a single piece of data to the scoreboard, post-match graphics, and the commentator's screen simultaneously.

5. Manual Mode: The Safety Belt of Live Broadcasting There should always be a Plan B in technology. Even if the scoreboard breaks down, the power goes out, or a cable snaps, there is no need to panic. You can switch to Manual Mode with a single button. Without changing any settings on the vMix side, you continue to manage the score from your keyboard.
6. Office Testing & Simulation For those who want to test the setup before going to the match;
Video Engine: Load a previously recorded match video, and let the system read the data as if you were at a live match.
Simulation Mode: Test all scenarios in your office with our virtual data generator.
7. Multi-Language Support for Global Use We know how international the vMix community is. That's why we prepared our interface for global use. As of now, English, Turkish, French, German, and Portuguese language files are ready. We will continue to add other languages to the system based on requests from our users in future versions.
8. Accessible Pricing Policy When our software is completed, it will be offered with a pricing policy economic enough that there will be no need to search for cracks or strain budgets. Our goal is for this technology to be used safely by broadcasters of all levels.
Current Status: Our software has not yet been released for general distribution. We are currently continuing intense field tests in different sports halls in Turkey with various scoreboard brands. We will share it with you when we are sure of the "Zero Error" principle.
Your suggestions and feedback are very valuable to us.
Best Regards, AGB Media Software Team
