Hi everyone,

I wanted to share a small utility I built that made our production workflow much easier.
It automatically renames vMix Master recordings using a clean and consistent format based on your project name, date, and time.

We use this tool daily in a live TV environment with several operators, and it significantly reduces mistakes and keeps our storage clean and organized.

Current features

Automatic renaming of vMix Master recordings

Custom project names (passed via command line or Companion)

Clean timestamp-based naming format

Works instantly after the recording stops

Can be used standalone or integrated with Companion, OSC, Stream Deck, or external automation

Planned features

Full MultiCorder renaming support (coming soon — already in development)
