I am using vMix software from past 4 years. Recently I have upgraded the vMix 29 version in Asus and 28 version in Lenovo streaming laptop. As i connect Blackmagic ATEM Mini/Mini Pro to my streaming laptops, and when i go to input= Camera menu, I can see that Blackmagic input is detected. But whenever I try to add that input a window pops up. It says, unspecified input error or value doesn't match.
I tried following
1. Re booting ATEM Switcher
2. Re booting Streaming Laptops, re connecting to different USB A port
3. Changing type C to A cable
4. Clearing tasks from Task Manager
5. I ensured that Blackmagic is not opened or used in other software like Zoom, OBS etc. I have connected solely to vMix.
But still error persist. I am able to see that when connected with OBS it works, it even works in ATEM software control. But not in vMix
What is the meaning of these two errors? How to resolve?
