Hello everyone, We use vMix in a hospital's surgical department to record complex operations so that we can show them later at conferences. We use three Canon PTZ cameras for this, whose 4K image signals are transmitted via HDMI to a workstation with an HDMI capture card. We then use vMix to make a multi-recording and at the end of the operation we have three files from the three different PTZ cameras. We then take these files and import them into Final Cut Pro to shorten the three-hour operation to ten minutes, which is a good length for the conference. Parallel to the three PTZ cameras, we also film some scenes of the operations with a Sony FX6 camera, which is held by a cameraman who moves relatively freely around the operating room. Of course, he doesn't film the entire three-hour operation with this camera, but rather a few sequences during the operation, so that in the end we have about 20 clips. And now here's my problem: how can I synchronize these 20 clips in a fourth videotrack in Final Cut Pro with the three other video tracks as automatically as possible, so that I don't have to laboriously search for the right places manually? I've already found this product for that purpose: https://shop.tentaclesyn...t/sync-e-mk2-double-set/I connect it to the Sony FX6 and it sends out a timecode. The only question is: can vMix receive this timecode somehow and store it in one of the three PTZ video tracks during multi-recording, so that synchronization in Final Cut Pro is then completely automatic? Best Regards, Felix
