I have what I think is a fairly simple request, but for the life of me, I can't make it work. All I want is to record a few powerpoint slides with a'talking head' in the recorder in such a way that I get 3 outputs: My Logitech Brio camera with my greenscreen behind it and my voice; my powerpoint ppt slides only (perfectly synced with the talkover; and then the mix with the two layers. I get the camera and the all-in-one mix just fine, but for some reason VMix does not record the slides only recording, Here's how I've set it up (I have my ppt in a separate window to have full control over animations etc.): 2025-09-22_08-57-21.png (66kb) downloaded 43 time(s). 2025-09-22_08-58-31.png (58kb) downloaded 43 time(s). image_2025-09-22_090321424.png (654kb) downloaded 45 time(s).What am I doing wrong? Thanks for your support. -Stephan

In your screenshot setup you are recording your camera twice, because it is in Output. Are you getting three files? Maybe this is the problem. Otherwise, your render time seems to be quite high already, could be causing issues while recording. You could try a Full HD project instead of UHD.

If you go more visual with the presentation and use "PPT to NDI" app you get the objects as an overlay and are more free in the design of your composition. This would also look more professional and not 80ish style. NDI screen capture is another option in combination with studio monitor to record the slide with a click of a button in studio monitor. Otherwise NDI needs to run through an output to be used in the multicorder.
