Hi everyone! I’m planning a new build for high-end live production using vMix and came across PC5-38400 / 512GB DDR5-4800MHz memory modules. I know DDR5 offers major bandwidth improvements, but I’m wondering how this kind of capacity and speed translates into real-world performance for vMix workflows.

Has anyone here used DDR5-4800MHz in a vMix setup?

Does vMix benefit from ultra-high memory bandwidth and large capacity in multi-camera or 4K/8K productions?

Any stability or compatibility concerns with this memory spec on current motherboards?

Would love to hear your thoughts or experiences before I commit to the upgrade. Thanks in advance! 🎥🖥️
