I tried to search on this but came up empty . . . .

Currently I am able to stream VMix video over my network by streaming to a port (eg 8080). On a second computer I am running VLC. I can "open network stream" at [ipaddress]:8080 and view the video generated by VMix.

Is there a way to send a video over the LAN to a box like the WD TV media box, rather than use a PC running VLC? If so, how would I set up the transmission on the VMIX end, and how do I receive it on the WD TV end?
