Hello,

I’m having an issue with duplicated audio in my vMix.
Here’s what’s happening:

I have a microphone connected to the TASCAM Mixcast 4 digital mixer, and that part works fine.
But when I add anything else to my live stream in vMix that has audio—for example, an intro jingle—the jingle’s sound is also picked up by the microphone and ends up playing twice on the stream (at least that’s what I’ve been able to understand).

And this only happens if the audio comes from vMix. If I play audio from an external source, like a YouTube video, then it comes out normally, without duplication.

I don’t know what to do. I’ve looked everywhere and couldn’t find a solution.

I hope I managed to explain it clearly.

Sounds like your audio output is being played where the microphone is able to pick it up.

Otherwise please detail the way your mixer is connected to vMix including the settings for the Audio Outputs Tab of the vMix Settings.
