Direct support for BMD's Micro Camera Control Hardware would be an amazing help. Sure, you get the cameras pretty matched up before the show/game, but then the sun comes out/gets clouded over, the lighting changes too much, or talent didn't get the note about white shirts. Having immediate physical control would be AWESOME! BMD's unit even has camera selection buttons.
