Similar to how many word processing software used to work, it would be great if vmix would create multiple .bak versions of the preset whenever I go into it. Sure, I can always not save a preset on exit but it would be fantastic if I need not worry about that with individuals who may not know about what they may have altered inadvertently and then by routine just hit yes to save on exit.
Thanks!

I keep my presets "Read Only" in Windows to prevent inadvertent changes.
Any change requires a deliberate step of ticking off the "Read Only" box.

+1 for something like optional auto-save Personally I have 1 main preset per show but when I need to do a new show,I save new preset per date. So for example I have news 5-9-2025 for today,4-9-2025 for yesterday etc.. Yes about 3,5 years I'm using vmix, there exist a loooot of presets but I know every date/show (the most of them are weekly and not per day like news) what I was producing in which day.
