Even this forum is confusing to my ADHD brain (or maybe I am just too stupid to do this ) Trying to attach to the image. I started out with just one blank preset that I couldn't delete. Now I have two! i tried googling. I couldn't find this NDI that it wanted me to delete from Window. So i said,OKay I'll uninstall program. I open it up and it is still the same way I left. I also need to find the layering post to underst why I can't get my camera to be on top of whatever game or browser I have pulled up and then my sound alerts on top of all of that. It only shows up if someone watching on twitch clicks to play a sound alert. I went to this from OBS b/c every time I open it up, I have to start over from scratch. It never remembers anything. And sound doesn't work right. So i am hoping I can figure this all out. thumbnail (1).jpg (81kb) downloaded 31 time(s).

vMix doesn't save and load automatically like OBS. You have to manually save the preset file then manually open the preset file.
2 "Blank" inputs load by default (one to populate the preview, one to populate the output). You cannot remove them, because they're needed to populate the output and preview.
When you add an input, it will override them.
Layering is done in Input Settings -> Layers. Layer 10 is the topmost.
Audio devices need to be manually assigned to buses in Settings -> Audio Outputs. You won't have any sound routing anywhere until you do that.
And none of this seems to have anything to do with NDI.

okay...that seems to make since. it appeared that it was staying up even when trying to add something. I think while you replied I kind figured out better how to layer everything as well. Appreciate it. I think I will eventually like this a little better than OBS. OBS is great when it isn't being buggy. I look forward to using this with restream.io later today. thanks again!
