Please help as I am getting confused in the use of Instant Replay be it with only one camera or 2.
Using 1 camera despite having a camera A and B preview I imagine I can ignore a lot but with 2 the workflow is starting to get confusing in terms of choosing and replaying, swapping and probably the way various parts are named.

Anyway before I have to put my foot in my mouth by saying stupid stuff and make me look dumber than I am can anyone discribe various scenarious in the use overall please, some basic workflows even related to the 'events'

My point is at the moment it looks more complicated than it is (all about getting the logic in this case compared to other possible ways which I imagine are based here on 'hardware' systems )

much appreciated
Guy

There are quite a few different ways the new Instant Replay can be used
so perhaps if you could describe what you would like to be able to do, we can provide a step by step overview.

Being flexible is the beauty of a system :-)

one simple example:
I 'recorded' events (2 cameras/2 angles) and at some point I want to replay one or the 2 angles one after the other of a certain event ( with stinger) at some point.

in thiscase it concerns short races one after the other so the replays could happen before the next race starts (problem is time as races finish in between 30 and 45 seconds and between 1 - 1,5 minutes between each race ) . of course replay parts would be short , coudl be marked but also could have to be specified (quickly marked at the end of a race ).
At some point I am considering triggering events by external gates to facilitate easyer pinpointing parts
Goal is to be as a one man operation

looks one can multiselect various clips under an event to play from different cameras but not same event and its different cameras sequentially (unless one chooses play each angle selected but that contains black clips if one has 2 cameras for example)

Wait until the next update and see how you go.

It is being changed so that you can select each angle individually through checkboxes so when
playing that event it will play all the selected angles.

thanks 1 user thanked admin for this useful post.
