I could not open the replay files in FCPX. What is the codec it uses? I can record via vmix with matrox mepeg iframe (VS4 and decklink Quad) and it will open if the codec is installed in FCPX, but replay files uses some other codec?

Do you receive a specific error message in FCPX?
The files are standard MPG files with MPEG-2 I-frame codec.

No error message but MPEG-2 I-frame files stay gray in mac when importing, so I can't select them. I can import matrox MPEG-2 I-frame files recorded via vmix after installing matrox codec to FinalCutX.

How sensitive is replay software? Would it be possible to optionally select matrox MPEG-2 I-frame codec or BMD mjpeg which can be imported to FinalCutX?
