Dear vMix Support Team,

I’m currently working on a large LED display setup using vMix version 28, and I’ve encountered an issue with the new Layers system.

My screen resolution is 3840 x 1024, and I need to stack four individual 3840 x 256 sources vertically to create one seamless full-screen image. However, I’m facing two main problems:

vMix does not allow setting a fully custom output (canvas) resolution like 3840 x 1024 in the general settings. Only standard resolutions are available in the dropdown, and there’s no manual entry option.
In the Layers section, I cannot lock the aspect ratio of individual inputs when scaling and positioning them. This often results in distorted (stretched or squashed) content when trying to align multiple layers precisely.

As someone using vMix for LED wall management professionally, these limitations make it difficult to build pixel-perfect layouts for non-standard screen sizes.

Would it be possible to:

Add support for custom canvas resolutions (e.g. manual entry)?
Include an option to “Lock Aspect Ratio” or “Maintain Original Size” when scaling layers?

I believe these improvements would benefit many users working in live LED display setups with custom resolutions.
