Welcome!
after updating the graphics driver, I can not run any video file. I tried file formats: avi, mp4, wmv only video files that works is mov. the preview image looks like the attached screenshot. I tried to reinstall video drivers, codecs, vmix and nothing happends. Anyone have any idea how to fix it?

The video card is Intell HD 4600 and Nvidia K1100m, in lenovo Thinkad W540

Have you tried changing resolutions on the video display to see which one works....sometimes these cards start in default settings, and have to be setup.....

What happens if you open the same video files in a stand-alone video player application, such as media player classic home cinema (mpc-hc)? Or VLC player?

If it is a lenovo driver package, perhaps the best alternative is to reverb back to previous driver version, if the updated ones don't contain some crucial new feature.

Since MOV files are working, I would definitely suspect a software incompatibility first.

edit: Also, can you change the level of hardware acceleration from Device manager or Display adapter settings, what happens then?

I'm sorry that I did not answer, but I had a lot of work.

I checked in VLC, Windows Media Player, etc and everi files work correctly. I tried to uninstall all the drivers and still not working. The only method that helps, is turn off K1100M NVIDA card in Device Manager.

Change acceleration card does not change anything

In vMix under Settings -> Performance try changing the Video Renderer to EVR.

You can also go into the NVIDIA Control Panel and select which graphics card to use with vMix.
Selecting the K1100M may work better depending on your requirements.
