We recently replaced our vmix computer which we had been using pretty problem free since 2020. We are looking to eventually replace cameras and such so we decided it was time for an upgrade.
The computer is an intel core ultra 9 285k with a asus rog Maximus z890 hero, 32 gb of ram and an asus tuf gaming GeForce Rtx 5070. It’s running windows 11 pro and vmix 28.0.0.42

For cameras we have 4 PTZOptics gen 2 cameras from 2020-2021. All are HD, one 20x PTz, one z-cam and 2 eptz.

We’ve had very few issues with the system with the old PC which ran windows 10 home and an older version of vmix. I’m not sure the version number but we hadn’t upgraded in several years.

With the new system out of the 6 times we’ve used it the cameras have frozen twice. In both cases NDI Tools Studio Monitor on the same PC still shows a live view. The first time three cameras stopped and the fourth about 15 minutes later. The NDI feed from, ProPresenter keeps running. The only way we’ve found to recovery the stream is to restart vmix. After the first failure I upgraded all the firmware on all the cameras. I also made sure the computer only had one active network connection.

My next step is to add a NDI discovery server and see if that helps. But I have a couple questions:
1) is there a way to reset the NDI connection without resetting vmix? We tried changing the input but that didn’t help.
2) Are the other steps to try? Any logs I should look at? I looked at the main log and didn’t see anything obviously useful.
