Hi guys!
So a idea struck me when working on a remote-location setup;
I wanted to sync all of my up to four cameras from this location going through RTMP stream, and as our encoder could handle 1080p60, we thought why not make it 1440p30 and split them into four 720p streams in vMix?
Then some problems occurred, for once, 1440p isn't a setting in vMix, and our "output size" or master resolution is still 720p, thus comes some questions:
Can vMix input streams and cameras of higher resolution than the master resolution and scale them properly?
What happens if I select the next tier resolution for my stream input in the input menu? Will I lose some quality due to the upscale/downscale process (if there even is one)?
Also, does anyone have a better solution for this problem?
Cheers, Håvard
