Hello all,
Long time lurker, first time poster.
We beat up the demo version as best we could and could not break it so we're about to purchase a 4K seat for mobile production. VERY impressive piece of software. And if I can just figure out the last piece of the R&D puzzle I am working on we will be looking at purchasing 10 - 20 4K seats a year. It's a tough piece to fit in tho so fingers crossed.
The questions I have are in regards to updates/upgrades and pricing. I see you get 12 months free updates after purchase so my questions are these.
1 - Does the free 12 month period include edition upgrades also (14 to 15) or just point updates (14.x.xxx to 14.x.xxxx)?
2 - After the 12 month period is over are point updates still free but you pay for edition upgrades or is there a fee for both point updates and major edition upgrades after the 12 months?
Thanks so much for your time, looking forward to life with Vmix.
-Jim

Hi Jim,
1. Yes all upgrades regardless of version are free for 12 months 2. After 12 months, point updates will still be free, major updates will require purchasing the upgrade (at the moment the price is only $60)
