Hi Guys,
First time poster here but have been using vMix for more then 5 years. We run a decent PC with blackmagic capture cards and we use a Midas M32 with USB card as sound device. The DN320Live control panel sees the M32 and Buffer settings is always 1024 samples. When i set it to 512 and start vMix it automatically goes back to 1024. Vmix and M32 are both 48000 sample rate and we run vMix on 1080p25.
We want to have our sound engineer to have controle over all the levels so also over the audio levels from our video's we start in vMix. So we send our video sound to mixbus A and not to the master so it only goes to the M32 over the USB. Then we get a mix back from our M32 with mics and audio from vMix.
We use to have 80ms delay on the mix output in the M32 but since some update i dont remember when we could skip the 80 and go back to 0 to have our mics sync in vMix. But now everytime we have to delay our video's in vMix with -80ms..
Very strange so thats why im wondering if anyone also had this issue.

I don't get it. video -80ms and audio 0ms should be same as video 0ms and audio +80ms. And it should be much easier to delay audio than video.

Yes i wish. But here is a simplified schematic of the setup Scherm_afbeelding 2025-06-04 om 12.51.48.png (21kb) downloaded 10 time(s).The video's dont go to master. They go to BUS a and then come back with the total mix. Thats why i said i dont delay my mics in the M32 but i have to minus delay the videos in vMix to make them sync..
