Dear vMix Team,
I’m a regular user of vMix (currently on version 28.0.0.42) and would like to request an option to disable the floating “Peak” tooltip that appears when hovering over audio meters (e.g., “Peak Left: -20.7 dB / Right: -20.6 dB”).
While this tooltip can be helpful during setup or troubleshooting, it becomes distracting in live production environments — especially when:
Using NDI or fullscreen multiview capture
Working with large input sets where hovering is common
Operating via external controllers but occasionally using a mouse
Suggested Feature: Add a checkbox in Settings > Display or Audio:
✅ "Disable Audio Peak Tooltip"
This would let users completely suppress the popup, improving UI clarity and avoiding accidental overlay of audio info on critical interface areas.
Thanks for considering this usability improvement — vMix is an incredible platform, and this small tweak would help many of us who use it for professional live events.
Best regards, Alvis
